Kathy Constan LLB, BA
Kathy Constan was admitted to practice law in 1989 and founded Hercules Constan Lawyers in 1993.
Kathy specialises in litigation, property and commercial law advice. She has a particular interest in water law gained through representing the retail water Statutory Authorities over 25 years. In the commercial sector Kathy has advised clients with sales and acquisitions, property acquisitions, leasing, contracts, employment agreements and other ancillary matters with a particular speciality in Pharmacy involving transactions up to $20M.
Kathy employs a collaborative approach towards client solutions and has developed many innovations to improve business outcomes for clients. She is particularly interested in legal technology and is active in implementing new processes and systems within Hercules Constan to ensure that the delivery of legal services is provided in current and future practice. She has presented at business forums, seminars and client workshops on a variety of legal topics including bankruptcy, liquidations and general litigation process.
Kathy is a board member of ALTA the Australian Legal Technology Association, a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and a Williamson Fellow (Leadership Victoria). Kathy has also contributed to other board and committee positions including Chair of the Owners Corporation of 434 St Kilda Road for 5 years.
